Postage, Delivery and Customs
Postage is calculated automatically during checkout.
The amount depends on what you are ordering, where it is being sent and how many parcels are needed.
UK membership packs
UK membership packs are sent by Royal Mail 2nd Class Large Letter.
Membership packs are not sent using a tracked service.
UK merchandise
UK merchandise is sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48.
If your order contains items that need different packaging, they may be sent in more than one parcel.
Overseas membership packs
Overseas membership packs are sent by Royal Mail International Standard Large Letter.
Membership packs are not sent using a tracked service.
If you choose an overseas No Pack membership, nothing is posted to you and there is no postage charge.
Overseas merchandise
Overseas merchandise is sent using Royal Mail International Tracked.
Some items may need to be packed and sent separately.
If your order needs more than one parcel, the postage is calculated for the parcels required.
Customs and import charges
Physical orders sent outside the UK may be subject to customs, import tax or postal handling charges.
The charges depend on the destination and the contents of the parcel.
Where SONG can calculate and collect import charges during checkout, they will be shown before you pay.
The checkout will explain that these charges are included in the amount you pay to SONG.
Where import charges must be paid after the parcel reaches your country, the checkout will clearly tell you that additional import charges will be payable.
These destination charges are not included in the amount paid to SONG.
The final amount charged by your local customs authority or delivery company may differ from any estimate shown by SONG.
Royal Mail customs handling
For some European orders, Royal Mail applies a customs handling charge.
Where this applies, it is shown during checkout.
More than one parcel
Some orders require more than one parcel because different products need different packaging.
Each physical parcel may have its own postage and customs charges.
The checkout calculates these automatically.
If automatic customs pricing is not available
Some destinations or orders cannot be priced safely by the automatic customs system.
If this happens, the website will ask you to contact SONG before placing the order.
Do not change your country or address to try to continue through checkout.
SONG will check the correct postage and customs charges and explain the total before you pay.
Delivery times
Delivery times can vary.
Overseas deliveries may take longer because parcels can be delayed by customs or the local delivery service.
Please allow reasonable time for delivery before contacting SONG about a missing parcel.
If your parcel is late or missing
- Check any tracking information supplied with your order.
- Remember that membership packs are not sent using a tracked service.
