Forgotten Password or Account Access

Use this page if you have forgotten your SONG password, cannot access your account, or no longer have access to the email address connected to your membership.

Forgotten your password?

  1. Go to Log In.
  2. Select Lost your password?
  3. Enter the email address connected to your SONG account.
  4. Select Reset password.
  5. You will receive an email containing a link to create a new password.
  6. Follow the link and create your new password.
SONG does not have access to your password.

SONG cannot see, retrieve, set or change your password for you. You must create or reset your own password using the secure password reset process.

If the password reset email does not arrive

  • Check that you entered the email address connected to your SONG account.
  • Check your junk or spam folder.
  • If you still do not receive the password reset email, use the Contact SONG page for help.

No longer have access to your email?

If you cannot access the email address connected to your SONG account, do not create another account.

Do not place a new membership order using a different email address.

Select No longer have access to your email? to open the secure account recovery form.

Please provide as much information as you can.

You will be asked for your old email address, your new email address, your name and information that SONG can compare with your existing membership record.

You can also provide a recent SONG order number and your membership expiry date if you know them.

What happens after you submit the recovery form?

SONG will compare the information you provide with the existing membership record.

The public confirmation will not tell you whether an account has been found.

If the information can be matched to an existing account, SONG will send a verification email to your new email address.

You must verify that you have access to the new email address.

Verification does not change your SONG account automatically.

SONG must review and approve the recovery request before the email address on your account is changed.

Your existing SONG account will be updated. A new account will not be created.

Your password will not be changed as part of the account recovery process.

If you do not remember your password after your account email has been updated, use Lost your password? and create a new password yourself.

Forgotten which email address you used?

Do not create another SONG account.

Use the Contact SONG page and provide your full name, postal address and any recent SONG order number or membership information that you know.

SONG can then check the existing membership records.
